“Stay Afloat” With CT’s, JT, In His New Video

Tapping producer, Trappster Beats, CT artist, JT, flexes his songwriting abilities as he taps into his emotions about his personal, past experiences. The title of the song was inspired by those who still remain on the streets, says JT, trying to impress their peers by living “that life,” while they just “stay afloat.”

“My father was previously incarcerated, twice, due to the streets, and I’ve lived around the streets my whole life. I know what’s it like to play your role in that movie, get caught up in the system – the trap. This is for them.”

Partnering with director, Mike Rawlings, JT takes us to an abandoned school in Connecticut matching the grittiness and cold, barren feeling of the record.
