With their debut album VIDÉ hot on the horizon, fast rising collective seeyousoon make it four of four with stellar new offering, “Shut Up”. Having quickly established themselves as a new act to watch this year and racked up plaudits from the likes of The FADER, Lyrical Lemonade, Wonderland Magazine, COLORS,Ones To Watch and more, seeyousoon have cemented themselves as of one of 2020’s most exciting new acts. Speaking on the release, seeyousoon states:
“Shut Up began as a throwaway on one of our phones. One of our producers originally made the beat and recorded the hook while he was on tour. The song is such a burst of raw energy on the album, we find it interesting that a song with such size and presence was created on a device that fits in the palm of your hand.”
Drawing comparisons to the likes of Brockhampton and Odd Future, seeyousoon have quickly grabbed attention. The nine—Ignacio, Kenny, Denny, Maddie, Josh, Dre, Drex, Luke, and Mitch- formed in 2018 based on a shared love artists as diverse as Jadakiss and Mars Volta.
