Marquis a.k.a. Grand Marquis was born in New York and relocated to Northern Virginia at the age of 9-years-old with his family. As a child, Marquis always loved music and eventually began replaying songs on his keyboard he would hear on the radio. At times, he would sit in his room and play original songs, and other times he would write lyrics as they came to his head. His style of music has always been a blend of Hip-Hop and R&B, with his major influences being Biggie, Nas and Jay Z.
To date, one of his major accomplishments was the opportunity to open up for Bone Thugs & Harmony and Naughty By Nature in front of 20,000+ people. Now, Grand Marquis returns with his official “How I Do” music video, brought to us by Ambitious Entertainment.
